Ken Hall

Vice President at DeepWork Capital

Ken Hall is a Vice President at DeepWork Capital and supports the firm in sourcing and executing investments, fund operations, portfolio management, and more. Prior to DeepWork, Ken worked for IBM in New York City, where he held numerous roles for IBM in Corporate Development and Corporate Venture Capital. In his four years at IBM, Ken supported over $2B of deal value for some of the company's most innovative brands, including IBM Watson, IBM Blockchain, Watson Health, Hybrid Cloud, Global Business Services, and IBM Automation. He has additional venture experience as a former advisor to 1843 Capital as well as various family offices, including the founding families of Motorola and The Carlyle Group, where he supported over a dozen early stage investments ranging from industrial products to autonomous vehicles and cryptocurrency banks.

In addition to his role at DeepWork and his mentor role with leAD, Ken is also the Chair of Startups for the Orlando Tech Council where he helps facilitate connections and create programming on behalf of all startup companies in Central Florida. Ken is a mentor at NewChip, which is the largest global online accelerator, and is an advisory board member for IBM's Hyper Protect accelerator. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Haven and received his MBA from Boston University. In his free time, Ken enjoys finding new restaurants, trying to be "less awful" at golf, and exploring all that Florida has to offer while still being a die-hard Boston sports fan.
