Daryl Nelson

Director of Organizational Development at New England Patriots

Daryl Nelson is the Director of Organizational Development for the New England Patriots. His role entails supporting coaching, administration, operations, and player engagement by identifying and developing best practices, policies, and procedures to improve/ enhance the organization’s culture. Daryl will lead or collaborate in the development of projects, programs and interventions that have system-wide scalable solutions. He is also responsible for educating and fostering mental health, wellness and professional development of the staff and players. Prior to his current role with the team, he served as the Associate Athletic Trainer in which he was responsible for the health care and well-being of athletes, administration of the department equipment/supplies inventory, operational budget, and managing the internship program. Daryl earned his B.S. in Athletic Training from Texas Christian University and M.S. in Allied Health Management from The Ohio State University.
